The Easter Holiday weekend has come to an end but here’s a way to keep enjoying chocolate! With only 3 ingredients indulge in this guilt free metabolism boosting chocolate recipe.
This recipe is comepletely customizable to your tastes. Simply, melt coconut oil in a pan and add in cocoa and your sweetener of choice. I prefer dark chocolate but you can play around with the sugar and cocoa levels to make it more sweet. I recommend a sugar free alternative such as Stevia, Xylitol or Erythritol if you want to keep this guilt free. However, honey or maple syrup could be subbed in if that’s what you have on hand!
Once melted and well combined, pour onto parchment paper in a baking sheet. I actually skip this step and just pour it onto a large plate where it won’t spill over. The last step is to stick it in the freezer for 15 minutes. However, if you want to add any toppings I recommend doing so after 5 minutes in the freezer. By letting it set slightly, it will ensure your toppings don’t sink to the bottom of the mixture. Once it has hardened, lightly tap with a knife to break into pieces. Voila – unique chocolate pieces! The coconut oil gives it a silky truffle like taste. Just make sure to keep it refrigerated or frozen until your next treat.

3 Ingredient Healthy Chocolate Bombs Preparation: 5 minutes Freezer: 15 minutes
- ½ cup Coconut Oil
- ½ cup Cocoa
- Stevia, Xylitol or Erythritol to taste OR ¼ cup maple syrup/honey
- Optional – A pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt or other toppings
- Melt coconut oil in pan on low heat, and add cocoa and sweetener to taste. Stir to combine.
- Pour into pan lined with parchment paper.
- Place in Freezer for 15 minutes.
Optional: After 5 minutes in freezer sprinkle optional toppings
