Bad Axe

Bad Axe Throwing Ottawa is a very easy to locate. You’ll find it just off the 417 at St Laurent Blvd at 1580 Liverpool Court, #8, with free parking out front. Once you get there the team will walk you through a brief orientation at the beginning to show you the proper way to throw an axe and let you get comfortable. Once you’ve seen the demo, then you can take turns with your friends trying to hit the target in the middle. Challenge your friends and see who can get the closest to the bulls eye.

There are two axes you can choose from, one that you hold with both hands and one that you hold with one hand. You’ll have a chance to try both and see which one you feel more comfortable with. You’ll learn the axe throwing stance of one foot forward one foot back, visualize the target and then bring the axe back with your arms and throw it forward. You’ll have fun challenging your friends to see who can get closest to the target. Read their guide on how to throw an axe here and impress all your friends when you hit the target on the first go.

Bad Axe also let’s you bring your own food and drinks. Bring something along to fuel up half way through. We brought MLT DWN‘s grilled cheese sandwiches, waffle fries and Lowertown Brewery beer to go.
