Smoothies are easy and fantastic. In fact, making new smoothie creations that are both vegan and nutritious has become one of my favourite things to do in the kitchen on weekends. It was during one of these smoothie experiments – I like to call them – that I was inspired to create the perfect blend of immune boosting nutrients with only 6 ingredients. I was motivated to make a quick and easy smoothie that would be ideal for any time of the day.
Inspired by my love for peach Bellinis, I wanted to recreate the colour and sweetness slightly acquired from a peach Bellini. For fieriness and to help give a bit of a “wow” factor, I added in some ginger to provide that perfect pathogen cleansing feeling anyone would want from an immune boosting smoothie.
With the richness in vitamin C, beta-carotene, fiber and antioxidant properties in all most all of the ingredients used in this recipe like the California cling peaches, strawberries, oranges, dates and bananas, one thing is certain, you will feel germ-free with a refreshing glow. Not to mention, the anti-inflammatory properties present in the ginger make trips to the doctor’s office few and far between.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
- 14 oz. canned California cling peaches (3 whole peaches)
- 1 cup of sliced strawberries (5-6 whole strawberries)
- 2 cups of Orange Juice
- 2 large bananas
- 6 Medjool dates
- ½ – 1 Tablespoon of minced fresh ginger
- Optional: Ice Cubes
- In a large high-speed blender combine all the above ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Serve and garnish with spices and fruits of choice.
