This past weekend, I attended Folk Festival right here in our very own capital city, Ottawa. There were some amazing performances by some local as well as international groups and solo artists. Personally, I found that each performance was unique and unlike the others. It was definitely a great experience to be around people who were there solely to celebrate music together.

For those that couldn’t make it down to Hog’s Back Park last week for the music festival, throughout this week, our website will feature certain elements from folk fest such as performances, food trucks, fashion, vendors, alcohol etc. We hope that with all these highlights from the festival, you’ll feel as though you didn’t miss anything.

Here are some amazing shots of music performances taken by our very own photographers, Tony & Leon.

There were also many, many more groups that performed during the 5-day festival, and if you’re interested in finding out more about them, definitely check out Folk Fest’s website.

I would definitely recommend that you come out to the festival next year. It is a guaranteed good time!
