Sometimes in life you come across great people that inspire you, and when they speak, their every words resonate the very thoughts you didn’t think to voice out. Such is the case with the Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Just like some people, I found out about her from a sample of her speech used in the Beyonce song called “***Flawless”, and since then, her lectures, work and speeches have shown me that there are so many great people out there, just not discovered or heard yet. She is of course quite famous for her brilliance, and she is the author to books like Purple Hibiscus, Half of A Yellow Sun, and Americanah. She has also gone on to win various awards that include, The Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, International Nonino Prize, Anisfield-Wolf Book Award, and so many more. Her accomplishments are incredible, and I’ll surely recommend one of her famous and iconic TED speeches lectures till date.
