  1. Silent Disco (DJ Stage)

Back by popular demand, Soundboard will feature the Silent Disco. If you were at the Silent Disco last year, you know why this popular event was brought back for year two. Silent Discos are popular all over the world from Montreal to Melbourne, so its great to have the opportunity to participate in one in Ottawa.  How it works is everyone receives a headset with two lights. The colours indicate which channel the headset is on. Two DJs will be battling it out and try to get all the headsets to their colour. Everyone is dancing, enjoying the music, and having a great time, but as soon as you take the headsets off, its silent but everyone is still dancing. It’s such a great atmosphere and I definitely recommend checking it out. The silent disco starts at 11:30 pm but make sure to get their early to ensure you get a spot because this event is sure to fill up fast! On Friday night you’ll catch Jokers of the Scene at the silent disco and on Saturday night you’ll catch So Durand vs. Foster. The DJ stage opens at 7 pm so you can get there early and warm up to the beats of the many talented DJs lined up. You can see a schedule here.
