“Change the world” – that is a very ambiguous statement, isn’t it? Let’s try “Be the change you want to see in the world” – still very vague and it seems somewhat impossible. So how about “you don’t have to change the world, just leave a dent in it – make your mark” – A much clearer statement. This last phrase is what we should all strive for and it is what so many great people before us have striven for. It’s simpler and easier to accomplish than one solely trying to change the world, a world that is already constantly changing, fast-paced and impossibly busy. Thus, when we feel the world needs change we should leave a dent, do something that puts that change in motion. Much simpler isn’t it? So that’s what we urge everyone to do this week. Volunteer in your community this week, smile at a complete stranger, express your thoughts and opinions at work and at home, pursue strong internal instincts, question the ways of the world, attract positive energies and simply leave your mark, let the world know you were here even long after you’ve ceased to exist. There are so many people to use as reference; as people that have left a dent in the world, people that are never forgotten and people that are always remembered as the greatest. Below are some of our favorite innovators, thinkers, movers and shakers of the world, alongside our favorite quotes by each one of them.
