Natural Delight’s Medjool dates really live up to their description as “Nature’s Candy”. Naturally sweet, with a caramel-like consistency, you’d be surprised at how versatile these little treats are. For now, we’re blending them into a smoothie for the ultimate healthy, vegan summer drink.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Medjool dates (pit removed)
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1/2 pear, frozen
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp flax & chia seed, combined (or other boost of choice)

Directions:

  1. Soak Medjool dates in 1/4 cup water for at least 30 mins prior to blending.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender (including the water the dates are soaking in) and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
