The “off-shoulder/off-the-shoulder”, and open shoulder, trend is definitely a very flattering one. As I mentioned in this post, it is a spring trend that made its way into summer, and aren’t we all glad it did? The off-shoulder tops, and dresses, have their way of showing off a significant amount of skin while maintaining modesty. Much like myself, if you’re one that isn’t very comfortable showing a lot of skin, this is a trend for you. It definitely looks a lot more than you’ll actually feel like you’re revealing, and is a must try.

I went ahead to pair my top with a skirt, heeled sandals, and yellow micro bag for a minimal look. However, you can certainly dress – up or down – it however you like. It certainly makes for a good component of different outfits, from the very minimal style to the bohemian/festive style. That’s how easy it is to work with. Nonetheless, this trend, for me, definitely brings out my feminine side and makes me feel a million times more confident, fashion forward, and positive. Hope you enjoy it.
