We all know that a very popular community based event that typically takes place in the city of Ottawa is the local farmers’ market, where Ottawa residents get direct access to farmers, as well as the chance to purchase fresh and organic foods and produce. Since summer is fast coming to an end with about 5 weeks left before autumn is ushered in, we would like to compile a list of 5 major farmers’ market that take place in the city, so that you can attend an event before the farmers begin to pack up their bags, along with their fresh produce to hibernate for the cooler seasons.
