Hello again beautiful people, I hope you’ve been well and have enjoyed the fall season so far. It’s November and we’re still basking in 5- to 10-degree weather, what’s not to love?!
With that said, I come with something different this time. As a general rule in fashion, fall (and winter) is for darker colours whereas spring and summer are for brighter and more vibrant colours. The same rule applies to beauty, and pretty much everything else, unless you want to be different of course and make a statement.
I recently discovered some beautiful lip colours that are season appropriate and I couldn’t help but share them, alongside other beauty products that I’m loving right now, with you. Without further ado, here are some of my favourite fall beauty products:
Revive Beauty Makeup Blending Applicator
The beauty blender has since been a go-to for a lot of makeup users. Since its invention, and my discovery, my foundation and concealer brushes have been accumulating dust in my brush holder. The blender, as the name implies, blends your makeup (foundation and/or concealer) into your skin to give a more natural, and seamless, finish. Consequently, makeup application becomes easier as you have one less step to worry about during the process. The good thing about this tool is that it can be used both damp and dry. For a more dewy look, you can dampen the blender with some water or fix +. Otherwise, it can be used as it is. It’s benefits, alongside affordability, make it a must have.
Lancome Tente Idole Ultra 24H
With a sun protection factor of 15 (SPF 15) embedded, this long-wearing liquid foundation provides medium-to-full coverage without making it obvious. I’m not one to go heavy on makeup, but I wear this on a daily basis and it provides a natural finish. With 35 different shades available, everyone can certainly find a perfect match.
MAC Lipsticks in Sin & Verve, and Estee Lauder Lipstick in Desirous
I’ll just start by saying I’m a huge fan of brown and burgundy lip colours, and as you can even tell, the colours (Sin & Desirous) are very similar. However, Sin has more of a burgundy hue and Desirous a brown tone to it. These darker hues are great for the fall and winter seasons, and should be added to your collection. Verve, on the other hand, serves as a good old nude for me, so it’s a staple. It has a softer brown hue, in comparison to Desirous, to it and would work well on days that you want a softer look.
MAC Fix+ Spray
This rosewater-based product is nothing but divine, and has a very soothing smell. It doubles as a hydrating spray for the face and application tools alike, and a setting spray to pull your entire look together. It’s been a favourite for as long as I can remember, and it’s a definite must have. Imagine spraying this after a tedious makeup application process, or even during a long day? Amazing!
After all that’s been said, here’s the best part: you have the chance to try some of these products. In the spirit of giving, a GIVEAWAY is in place just in time for the holidays. To enter for a chance to win the products in the image below, simply:
